- Some professors are better than others its a mixed bag sometimes. Some are terrible but some are great.
- fun. something about the school just makes me happy, its hard to describe.
- Some professors are good and some are not, but they tend to be acceptable.
- I am very satisfied with the academics here.
- Maryland is focused on the funding for majors like engineering, business. ARHU doesn't get much. Professors are OK. I have had both better and worse in HS.

- The campus is diverse, but everyone is more or less open to each other, while still celebrating their won back grounds and cultures.
- Laid back
- diverse. there is your occasional freak here and there but mostly everyone is accepting and a good person to be around.
- Fairly friendly, and generally openminded.
- A very diverse student body
- I have met all kinds of students at Maryland, from friendly, to shy, to arrogant and snooty, to approachable, to close-minded and open-minded. That's the good thing and the bad thing about a big school. It's like life - there are bad apples, good ones, and everything in between.

- Wonderful
- average
- There are plenty of profs who arent, but I have been lucky so far.
- Not a lot of individual attention
- They are helpful and seem to actually care (most of them always exceptions of course).
- some of these people really think too highly of themselves
- The faculty are all of the above. I have seen it all.
- The faculty definitely want to help the students.
- Same can be said about faculty as for students. I have had horrible mean, arrogant, unhelpful, self-absorbed professors. I've had profs who seemed senile, teaching the same story over and over again for a whole semester. And I've had ok profs who taught the material and were willing to help, but dull. And profs who were fascinating and willing to help.

- Off-Campus Dining: B-
- Off-campus Housing: C+
- Additional reviews of town:
- its kinda dangerous outside the borders of the campus. if your greek, its awesome.
- These could be answered in very different ways considering different contexts.
- fun.
- Around the college is not the safest area.
- College Park, Maryland is not a very good area in general. It isn't the classiest area to be around, but I am very satisfied with the relatively low crime level. As long as you are smart, you will be safe and have a good time off-campus.
- I give everything an A here cuz I count DC as where a lot of the atmosphere, nightlife, etc. goes down. DC is a great city and super accessible from campus. Off-campus housing gets a C. Too many kids need it. It is overpriced, slummy. Hard to find something your parents and your wallet will agree with. Want something within walking distance? Multiply your troubles by 1,000.

- Additional reviews of campus life:
- I don't like greek life, but it is prevalent.
- not strict whatsoever, which is good.
- The campus isn't that strict!
- Overall pretty good. A lot of the buildings on the Mall look pretty on outside but classrooms could use some updates. Campus is too strict. No good samaritan policy. Off campus locations can get sketch. A little uncomfortable to live off campus, many students have homes broken into/get mugged.
- What does it mean if you give the drug scene an A? That the campus has a wider than average availability of illegal substances? Just wanted to point out that if it's worth measuring how high students get, it's worth asking the question in a way that makes sense. Especially to stoners :o)
