- UGA as an institution is excellent for providing a wonderful education in a warm environment. The range of classes available to nearly all students encourages students to pursue not only their academic interests but also their hobbies or extracurricular interests on a day to day basis. That said, the courses are still challenging and require dedication.
- The professors could help out a little more.
- professors are respectful and knowledgeable
- The chemistry department is not helpful at all.
- Academia and professors are amazing, however the administration (President Adams and cohorts) do not care about the students, but only care about furthering their personal image by appealing to rich alumni, wealthy donors, and anyone besides the student voice/body

- Additional reviews of students:
- In general UGA is a great place to meet people but some groups are more open to newcomers than others. The great thing about UGA though is that the school is so big that it is fairly easy to avoid the groups that you dont mesh with
- Really depends on who you make friends with.

- Additional reviews of town:
- Athens is a great town to live in and you can find things to do just about everywhere. Being such a young town, downtown is pretty packed most nights of the week but there are also things to do on campus a lot of nights. There is a nice variety of food types and level of quality to choose from in the restaurants around town. The same goes for apartments. I lived in a very very cheap apartment and drove to my parking lot every day my senior year but I have friends who lived downtown and walked everywhere and others who wanted a nicer apartment to live in with more amenities.
- I love the campus.
- can be a bit too much of a "party" town and weather can get really cold, but costs are low for housing and other things and the people friendly
- Athens is a wonderful college environment.
- Nightlife is among the best in the country for college towns. Incredible array of local restaurants and tastes.

- Additional reviews of campus life:
- As I said before, our campus is great because there is such an eclectic group of people and interests and finding yours while avoiding others is fairly easy. I love our atheletic programs and there are so many opportunities to support our student athletes, most of which are faily inexpensive. I was in a sorority myself. I loved it but will be honest that I didnt think it would be my scene, and there were times that it definitely wasnt. Overall though it was a great experience and some of my best friends that I still talk to today were my sorority sisters. I stay away from drugs and I know there were people who did them but I honestly was never exposed to any of those scenes, thankfully.
- The school is really big.
- id never walk on campus at night alone...the campus has a lot to offer
- The campus isn't too safe just because there are a lot of people here.
- The UGAPD (along with the ACCPD [Athens-Clarke County PD]) are among the most incompetent law enforcement officials I have ever seen. They care more about handing out jay-walking tickets and arresting 20-year olds for drinking than they do about the ever-increasing rape and burglary problems rampant due to poverty-stricken areas of Athens
