- i had some really bad professors that i felt cheated me out of my education
- i am not paying thousands of dollars a year to be taught by grad students
- Some professors are top-notch, others are too research-focused and have no teaching-skills whatsoever! Class size for undergrads (especially lower-level) too large.
- General breadth classes have hit and miss professors but some science professors are AMAZING!

- Additional reviews of students:
- great and friendly
- good
- You can pretty much ask anyone for help or direction. I think people on campus are pretty friendly and open-minded about various things from politics to sexuality. I anjoyed attending various educational, and just for pleasure forums/events.
- Mostly Asian
- it took a long while to meet people here and people are not approachable
- Fun and very involved, there is always something going on on campus
- Most of students are easy to talk to.
- Diverse and fun
- I found it really easy to get along with fellow students at UC Davis.
- Students are friendly and not cutthroat. They love to study together and get to know each other better.

- Additional reviews of faculty:
- there will be the good and the bad anywhere
- helpful
- I think most of the faculty there are willing to help out as long as you make the effort to. It's not like in high school or a community college where if you're doing bad, they'll ask if anything is wrong. You are responsible for yourself and need to speak up if you're not doing well. I did come across a few arrogant professors, but I think the majority are pretty helpful and don't come off as that typical arrogant snooty teacher.
- Busy, but willing to help
- pretty helpful
- They are nice and wanting to help students however very involved in their research
- Sometimes helpful, sometimes not
- For the most part, I found the faculty to be approachable and helpful during their office hours, and will gladly answer questions raised during lecture. However, there were more than a few lecturers/professors who didn't so much as maintain eye contact with the students, didn't ask for or properly answer questions, nor check in with students to verify comprehension.
- Faculty are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help!
- Nice people.

- Additional reviews of town:
- The only thing I didn't like about that town is that there's too many rich snobby white people. The only thing that makes it diverse and bareable is the college.
- its a really nice town, but there is really nothing to do, and the weather is terrible
- Davis is the quintiessential university town. I really liked it, even if it had little nightlife. We had Sacramento and the Bay Area for that anyway, if we were really in need.

- Additional reviews of campus life:
- I didn't notice or was aware of any drugs on campus. The athletics were awesome! At just about every game, the Aggie Pack is there to keep the crowd going. And the campus wasn't ever that dirty, it was pretty well kept.
- they keep a nice, clean and safe campus, i felt comfortable at night... not at all diverse though, it seemed really selective... girls outnumbered the boys about 10 to 1
- UC Davis takes good care of its campus and I felt really safe there, even walking around after dark.
