• I am an educator with 10 years of teaching experience in post doctoral dental education. I am more than qualified to evaluate other teachers. The quality of the instructor that I had for Finance at UB totally unacceptable. I brought my concerns to the department chairman, Deborah Ford, who was dismissive and unresponsive to my complaints. Only after engaging the assistant dean, was Dr. Ford moved to some action. By the time I realized that I was wasting my time, it was too late to qualify for any refund of my $2,000 tuition for this course. The administration should be ashamed to take students money for such worthless offerings. If you are just interested in going through the motions to get an MBA to advance you in your job, UB is probably as good as any low quality school. If you are interested in being educated by professional educators who will stimulate and inspire you, you definitely need to go somewhere else. I was very disappointed at the poor quality of teaching at UB; I was appalled by the disinterest of the administration. Stay away.

• The MBA program at UB is a combined program with Towson. All of the courses I took at Towson were exceptional. I took two courses at The Merrick School of Business at UB. One was marginal and the other (finance 504)was embarrassingly bad. I was a dean\'s list student in the program when I decided to transfer to Loyoloa.
