- Most applicants admitted, so sometimes low-quality students around. Programs renowned however.
- The Honors professors are AMAZING! However, in my other classes I was less than satisfied with the level of enthusiasm from my professors.

- Additional reviews of students:
- This school is in a very conservative town. VERY VERY CONSERVATIVE, and people here seem to stick to their beliefs and are very close minded. I am more liberal and open minded about everything because everyone has their opinions, but as close minded as people are everyone is friendly and gets along.
- FRIENDLY AND OPEN MINDED
- Greek girls are very snooty.
- Lots of students, most right out of high school without much social development.
- A very conservaive campus but full of life and diversity(or at least headed in that direction)
- It was a huge student body! Very, very diverse. Overall, though, I found the students to be overwhelmingly friendly and open.
- Student body is dependant on personality thereby there is no such a defined impressions for me.

- Additional reviews of faculty:
- Faculty here is great. They know what they are teaching because they can defend anything that they present. They are very friendly and do their best to help us survive getting our degree.
- some people could be friendlier
- VERY WILLING TO HELP
- Some overqualification sometimes. Most offer reasonable in-class support (large classes though)
- Although they are friendly west texans there are a a few who need to take the self interest down a level or two.
- I was impressed with the fact that the TTU College of Architecture was able to recruit and hire several well rounded, experienced, intelligent professors to this college. They are very knowledgeable in the profession and prepare students for the real world of our profession.
- Quite good.
- Some departments are greatly helpful especially for acadmic support, but the writing center or other facility may need more concerning
- Local Atmosphere: B
- Nightlife: C+
- Weather: C
- Off-Campus Dining: B
- Off-campus Housing: B
- Additional reviews of town:
- If I could I would pick up the school and move it to a different location, but I've learned to live here and like it.
- VERY FUN ATMOSPHERE
- Low cost of living, great food. Horrible drainage around campus/town!
- I think Lubbock needs to step up to do something about this problem. Because they are such a conservative town there isn't much attraction for fun nightclubs and other young adult oriented facilities to come. If texas tech wants to meet its' goal of expanding population they need to partner with the Chamber of Commerce and the City Council to turn some of those negative conservative images into something more appealing to 20-somethings and the venues they enjoy.
- Lubbock has much to offer in regards to nightlife and housing.
- Off campus housing is helpful, but ther is not so much place to hang out unless you have a car to access
- Diversity: B-
- Guys: B-
- Girls: B
- Athletics: B+
- Safety & Security: A-
- Greek Life: B-
- Campus Strictness: C+
- Campus Maintenance: B+
- Additional reviews of campus life:
- There are things that I would change about campus life, especially maintance and how much the university cares to show for my program. Enrollment in the visual and performing arts department is growing but we lack the facilities to accommodate everyone, it is getting very old having to deal with scheduling conflicts because of what we are provided. Everything we are provided with as far as class rooms is very poorly taken care of, probably because everything is old and hardly updated and maintained well.
- clasrroms could be better
- CAMPUS IS SAFE
- Rules/procedures about the most arbitrary things because of student immaturities, but a fabulous place if you're independent.
- Texas Tech is a beautfiul campus and has one of the friendliest janitorial and maintenance staff around.
- All good!
- Athlietics and football games are awesome!
