- Additional reviews of academics:
- HORRIBLE school. If you want to be completely ignored by your professors, and treated as if you are of no value to anyone, then this school is certainly the perfect one for you. The Temple College of Science and Technology offers very few classes that contain less than 100-150 students. Prepare to be a number.
- The science professors bring the grade down because their overall performance is weak and unprofessional.
- Great School
- Great, but tough school! Hard to control the urge to party..
- I came to this school because of its program. They, the administrators, are trying to add onto the already strong program, and making it worse. I have been in better prepared community college classes, and with professors that make more sense in their grading.
- GOOD BUILDINGS
- Offer great foreign university studies
- The professors in the science department are not that great at teaching. They always either seem to dumb it down too much or don't explain enough. But then again I've only had two calc professors and 1 physics professor so far in CST so I can only judge it on those 3 professors

- Additional reviews of students:
- You should definitely know someone in the school at the time you start if you want to make a reasonable amount of friends. The students body is soooo large and contains so many commuters that no one has interest in making new, additional friends. It has a diverse student body, but consequently is very divided according to race, ethnicity, and nationality. Overall, students are not too friendly.
- APPROACHABLE, FRIENDLY, SUPER DIVERSE
- Wide variety, but for the most part they can be dealt with pretty easily. mostly friendly, unless drunk.
- open minded
- Diverse.
- you make friends right away
- Hard-working students that often put themselves through school.
- WONDERFUL PEOPLE
- dedicated
- Everyone is so nice.

- 19% said faculty members are Condescending.
- 17% said faculty members are Self-Absorbed.
- 11% said faculty members are Unhelpful.
- Additional reviews of faculty:
- The faculty is very used to having no clue who each student is within their own class, so they try very little to get to know you. If you have difficulties with the class, they refer you to the tutoring centers rather than offering help. They are over-worked, over-tired, and uninvolved.
- MIXED
- Teachers are very snooty.
- helpful
- Too Busy for students
- Overall very good.
- good to talk to
- Out of the 20-something teachers I have had, I disliked one.
- some professors are really cool and others are not
- Three out of my five professors of semester fall 08, were completely ignorant and unwilling to hear out students, and were selfishly proud of what they have already done, and we should lead our lives exactly like them. My suggestion, is really try and find out what the teaching style of the professor is before you take their class.
- NICE ADULTS
- Great communication for all the questions I need answered to complete application processing
- Very intelligent and some of the best in the field
- Local Atmosphere: C
- Nightlife: C+
- Weather: C+
- Off-Campus Dining: B
- Off-campus Housing: C
- Additional reviews of town:
- It is in the middle of the ghetto. Literally. Assaults on and just off campus are very commonplace. Students must walk in groups and most females carry pepperspray. There is NO nightlife surrounding the campus, and the same goes for dining. You must drive or take the subway to Center City for entertainment and shopping. No grocery stores within walking distance.
- IN THE GHETTO
- Philadelphia is the worst neighborhood one could ever live in, and all the shootings and death that occur around the student housing is rediculous.
- gotta love the city!
- All the thrills of a big city.
- It's a city, self-explanatory.

- Additional reviews of campus life:
- Security is presented as being very good, but in reality it is not. It is well known within the college that many of the security officers are having sex with students. It is a public campus so homeless people and locals routinely hang out there. The school spends an inordinate amount of tuition money on landscaping (planting flowers in particular). It is a very beautiful campus with a wonderful park feel, especially considering it is in the middle of a very urban, poor, and low-class part of Philadelphia.
- you feel very safe, especially for being located in north philly
