Queens Mission Statement (Expanded Statement of Mission) Queens University of Charlotte is a student-centered, comprehensive, private University affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). With a foundation in the liberal arts and a commitment to excellence in education, the University serves the needs of a diverse coeducational student body with a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs and learning experiences offered by the College of Arts & Sciences, McColl School of Business, Presbyterian School of Nursing, School of Education, and School of Communication. In addition to the traditional undergraduate degree program, Queens offers the baccalaureate degree to working adults through the Hayworth College program offering evening, weekend and online classes. In all of its programs, Queens emphasizes active and collaborative learning, meaningful student-teacher relationships, a creative synthesis of the liberal arts with the world of work, and the value, indeed the necessity, of lifelong learning.
