Banker offers aid advice (The Lonoke Democrat)

Sandy Richard, a financial aid adviser with Simmons First Bank in Little Rock, gave a slide presentation to Lonoke High School parents and students about financial aid and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form at the high school’s annual financial aid workshop in the high school auditorium Nov. 10.

Accident claims former local reporter (Jacksonville Patriot)

According to an Arkansas State Police report, Jacksonville resident John Michael Dollar, 53, died Oct. 31 after being struck by a vehicle. The accident occurred at about 9:45 p.m., on Arkansas Highway 65 near Shadow Ridge Road.
