MONTGOMERY – Woodie Jackson of Selma, one of the most successful high school basketball coaches in the nation, is one of nine major contributors to prep athletics in Alabama who has been selected to the 20th class of the Alabama High School Sports Hall of Fame.

FAYETTEVILLE — “Eight is Enough” according to an old 1970s TV series. Well, eight has got to be enough for Arkansas, because that’s all the Razorbacks have for their season opener against the Alcorn State Braves tonight at Walton Arena and next Tuesday night’s game against Louisville.
