Founded in 1921, Delgado is Louisiana’s oldest and largest community college and serves students throughout a ten parish region: Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Charles, St. Bernard, St. John, Plaquemines, Terrebonne, Lafourche, and St. James. Our liberal arts comprehensive education provides the foundation for students with associate degrees that transfer to most Louisiana four-year universities.
