Wind energy research to be conducted at UMore, DCTC in Rosemount (Apple Valley - Rosemount Sun-Current)

Rosemount will be home to three wind turbines thanks to an $8 million federal stimulus grant. The University of Minnesota was one of three institutions recently selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to lead a wind energy research project.

Lauren DeZellar has been hired as Eastview High School head girls lacrosse coach. DeZellar, an assistant coach at Apple Valley last spring, replaces Garnet Asmundson, who is leaving to become head boys lacrosse coach at Simley.
