The mission of College of the Ozarks--providing a Christian education for youth of both sexes, especially those found worthy, but who are without sufficient means--has never changed. Working for an education is the continuing distinctive tradition of this college. The liberal arts education, fundamental to all degrees provided by the College's dedicated faculty, is designed to broaden and strengthen the mind. Students can gain the adaptability demanded by the modern world while clarifying the values that make life worth living. Our students learn to deal with the reality of changing technology while solidifying a foundation built on unchanging principles.
