The Michigan Supreme Court has rejected attempts by a Michigan teachers’ union to get home addresses and phone numbers of 16,000 employees in the University of Michigan system. The court agreed with an earlier decision to turn over the names, job titles, amount of compensation, work addresses and phone numbers for every employee to the Michigan Federation of Teachers, under a request filed under the Freedom of Information Act....
