Friday, September 5 RUTLAND — Despite being a player down for a five minute stretch due to a yellow card, the Burr and Burton varsity field hockey team stayed strong to defeat host Rutland, 2-1, in overtime on Thursday. BBA (2-1-1) got its regulation goal from Emma Provenzano and its OT game-winner from Veronica Weaver.
