Elaine Campbell remembers teaching at a time when integration was not yet a concept in New Iberia. That was 53 years ago — and she’s still at it. “I don’t know when I’ll retire,” said Campbell, an eighth-grade language arts teacher at Anderson Middle School. “I love what I do.
