Algona's Tim Lind Earns Silver in SkillsUSA Competition A Kirkwood Community College student has beaten his personal best in national competition. Tim Lind of Algona competed in the Sheet Metal competition at SkillsUSA Nationals 2008 and took home the silver medal. The 44th annual event welcomed more than 5,000 contestants in 93 categories.
