Christie Lynn Gilson recently graduated from the University of Illinois with a doctorate in special education. Because she is legally blind, she wouldn't have been able to read her own diploma without the assistance of some dedicated university staff members.

We’re starting to get the impression that Thomas Frank’s weekly column in The Wall Street Journal is called The Tilting Yard because he is perpetually disoriented or confused.  We wonder whether that title was his idea or the tongue-in-cheek recommendation of a facetious, yet suave, editor?
